Part I of Josh Ritter's US tour has been announced. I'm kind of excited. Especially because the venue in Chicago is around the corner from home. And it's a week before my 25th birthday, which makes everything better.
From Doug Rice's Fansite news page:
Spring U.S. "Tour I":
April 20: Detroit (Magic Stick)
April 21: Chicago (Double Door)
April 22: Indianapolis (Birdy's)
April 23: Cincinnati (Southgate House)
April 25: Annapolis, Md. (Ram's Head)
April 26: Washington, D.C. (Birchmere)
April 27: Philadelphia (World Cafe Live)
April 28: Providence, R.I. (Narrows Center)
April 29: Boston (Avalon)
May 2-3: New York (Tirbeca Film Festival)
May 4-5: New York (Bowery Ballroom)
May 6: Shelburn Falls, Mass. (Memorial Hall)
The new album isn't due out in the US til April 11. But based on the two tracks I've heard, and the new songs I've heard live, it's going to be an amazing album.
Shelburne Falls, MA? There is anything on than the 'flower bridge' there?

Yeah... I have no idea where Shelburne Falls is or what is there.
